Monarch butterfly

Monarch butterflies

  1. An adult butterfly comes to a  swan plant and lays an egg. Once it has been laid it turns white.

  1. Next it hatches in a week and then it turns into a tiny little small caterpillar.

  1. After it eats lots of leaves it grows bigger and bigger.

  1. Then it goes to a tree or plant.

  1. After that it turns into a chrysalis.

  1. After  another 1 week it turns into a butterfly but before it can fly it has to dry its wings.

  3. I love that you said where the butterfly will lay it's eggs. Does a Monarch butterfly lay 1 egg at a time? Something you could work on is explaining number 4, Does it make a chrysalis near or on the tree?
