Monarch butterfly

Monarch butterflies
First an adult butterfly lays a very tiny, tiny egg on a leaf on a swan plant  and after one week it hatches into a small caterpillar. It also eats leaves. After it's eaten some leaves it becomes a fat, fat, FAT caterpillar. Then it  turns into a  chrysalis. After one week the chrysalis cracks and finally it becomes a butterfly! Before it flies off, it waits until the wings are all dried. Then it flies away.
